ASIAN AMERICAN ADOPTEE
PODCASTER | SPEAKER | CREATOR
Hi! My name is Patrick Armstrong (he/him) and thanks for visiting patrickintheworld aka my little hub.
What started as a randomly selected username became something much more and while I wouldn’t say it’s my brand, it’s something folks recognize me by and was a basically available domain when I grabbed it five or so years ago. Minus the dot com one (looking at you, now defunct blog run by another person named Patrick đŸ‘€).
Who: I’m an Asian American adoptee based in Indianapolis
What: Podcaster, speaker, content creator
Why: Unpacking, understanding, and sharing my lived experience has helped me become a more whole version of myself; I believe everyone deserves that opportunity
Long story short: I’m a storyteller. My main method of storytelling is podcasting, whether it’s the regularly scheduled shows I’m already involved in or partnering with organizations, companies, and other entities to develop something new. I also work with some of those same entities to bring stories directly to them via keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, and more. Lastly, I keep it real personal on my social media pages, sharing my own story in real time from adoptee stuff, to Asian American stuff, to parenting, and beyond.
